The sugar cookie dough was dry. I mean really dry. I mean -- powdery dry. So I added some more butter and an additional egg to keep it moist. That dough is chilling now, and I'll bake them tomorrow.
My smoke alarm has only gone off once. New house - same hijinks. ;)
These chocolate chip cookies are the ugliest I've ever seen. They're like...circus cookies. No, wait. These are freak-show caliber cookies - the kind of cookies you hope your kids never ever see. They're huge. And greasy. Darn. I have NO idea what the cookie gods have against me tonight, but I am humbled in their midst.
I'll be back online tomorrow at 7:30pm EST. Friday, I'll be baking in the morning and afternoon, trying to get caught up.
