I think I’m ready. Well, I have to get out of my pajamas, but other than that, we’re good to go for Cookiecam at noon.

A few things you’ll notice:

My laptop’s wireless card is dead, so I’m not going to be as interactive as usual. Twitter (I’m @ladygypsy) is probably the best way to say hi, as I’ll have my iPhone nearby.

Even though I’m streaming live (a cookiecam first!) there will be no audio. I listen to music and have the TV on while baking, and I don’t want to deal with copyright issues. And I don’t want to talk to the camera.

If I’m not on camera, I’m in the bathroom or sitting here at the desktop PC tweaking something. Or crying and wondering why I do this stupid thing. Patience!

I’ll be AFK (away from kitchen) at 2:00ish to take the dogs out.

Remember, this is not instructional, This is not professional. This is a talentless hack in her kitchen doing what she was biologically programmed to do in December.

Today I’m going to be baking Glazed Lemon Cookies, some sort of pinwheel cookies, peanut butter blossoms, and maybe some gingerbread snowflakes (cheating, as I have premade gingerbread dough. How far I’ve fallen!)

Firstly,

Cookiecam lives tomorrow at noon, via Mogulus.com and an embedded player here on ladygypsy.net. I still need to find my web cam and figure out how to get this to work, but by hook or by crook, there should be something online at noon tomorrow.

Live, and hopefully silent, since I really would rather not chat into a camera. I have the voice of a silent movie star. :/
