Friday Five: Misses
Posted January 15th, 2010 by Kimberly DowdLook! It’s time for the Friday Five – this week’s theme is Misses!
1. What’s something you frequently misplace?
My glasses. I don’t need them for close up work, so I take them off. I also have the habit of taking them off in the bathroom before I pee (why? I dunno). And without them on I can’t really find them across the room.
2. For whom are you often mistaken?
As a crazy gun-toting, gay-bashing, warmongering Sarah Palin fan. People! Just because I didn’t vote for Obama doesn’t mean I’m Pat Robertson. Guns are okay in non-lunatic moderation, gays are great, the war needs to stop, Sarah needs to go home, the death penalty sucks and I’m tired of supporting Camden, NJ with my tax money.
3. When were you last misinformed about something important?
Last week. “The client wants something simple.” That really meant “The client wants an ad that looks like the circus puked on it. With red. I mean blue.”
4. Where in your home do you have a seemingly random collection of miscellanea?
My dorkshelf! It’s above my desk. I should take a picture of it. It has a little something of everything I love, including a mini Buddha bead, a magic 8 ball, a seashell, a mini rubber duck and a kaleidoscope.
5. Upon meeting someone for the first time, what qualities in the other person are likely to cause you to misjudge him or her?
A slightly open mouth when not eating or talking. It’s horrible, I know.

Hey,

You don’t mind if I get into this Friday Five thing with you, do you? Seems like a fun little weekly meme.
