Diet update: Week Six
Posted February 18th, 2010 by Kimberly DowdHey howdy hey, it’s weigh-in day! As of this morning, I’m at 167.8 lbs bringing the grand total lost to 12.6 lbs!! Huzzah!

Twelve pounds of stuff.
Weight Watchers has thusly rewarded me for my progress by dropping my daily points amount from 23 to 22. Huzzah.
My pants are all baggy on me now, but I’m refraining from buying the next size down right away. I’d ideally like to buy 2 sizes down when I’m at that point to save some money. But maybe I’ll hit a thrift shop this weekend and see what’s out there.
This week I re-discovered Vlasic Bread & Butter chips. You get 3 chunky slices for 1 point which is just enough to give the taste buds a kick. I have one of these pickles and immediately I’m 8 years old and I’m running around in the summertime with flipflops and a bandaid on my leg and a ponytail that won’t stay put. I also bought some CocoPop rice cakes at Wegmans on a whim. They’re 0 points each and are really good for being rice cakes!
Photowise, if five pounds lost is a bag of flour, 12 lbs lost is (in honor of the weather we’ve been having) a nice chunky 10 lb bag of rock salt and two pounds of coffee to keep me warm!
