The lovely Kristen emailed me last month asking if I could replicate these earrings that she saw on Etsy. Uh, sure! It took me a bit of time to find the materials, and I found out that it was better to buy in bulk.

And now I have quite a few pair of them. So I’m giving a pair away! (OMG! My first blog giveaway! It’s finally growing up!)

This isn’t for just the ladies, by the way. These’ll make a cute little stocking stuffer for wife, mom, daughter, grandmom, girlfriend or mistress so I want my male readers to enter too, okay?

The earrings are made from Swarovski crystals, are 3/4″ long from loop to bottom, and will be on gold-plated surgical steel earwires. So all told they’ll be about 1 1/8″ long.

    :) I can’t resist giving it a try. I prefer fake trees for the same reasons as you–also because buying a real tree has gotten crazy expensive the last few years. I got a gorgeous fake tree for free from someone “downscaling” to a smaller one. Yay for free! :)

    I have to say that I love real trees, but I sleep much better and have less clean-up with our fake one. Plus the fake branches hold up the ornaments better.

    I love my fake tree. I bought it before I was married and took it with me when I left my parents’ house. I’ve had it for years. I did however just see a pretty white tree at Target that I’m currently coveting :)

    Has to be real. Charlie Brown size is fine as long as it is real! :-p
