Congrats on being a bridesmaid or whatever you wanna call it. I, too, wanna diet but am finding it hard to launch off a diet program. I’m almost 50 and I guess I am just tired of the dieting thing.

have you ever seen the movie 27 dresses? funny bridesmaid stuff right there. no cinematic epic – but it’s good brain dead watching.

as for the diet – most programs work if you follow them to the letter. it’s when you start cheating that any plan will fail. weight watchers gives you more wiggle room for the “oops” in life. i’ve tried those Alli pills – one recommendation: read ALL the “treatment effects” warnings it gives.

First, congrats I’m sure it’s a girly thing but hey, sounds like you’re excited and that’s cool.

About Weight Watchers. I followed the Points system, never enrolled in the program, never went to one meeting. But I my wife was enrolled in the online program before she got pregnant and she lost over 40 lbs. I just used all of her literature, and you the rest of the story.

It’s basically very simple stuff; the hard part is sticking to it! Good luck–you can do it!
