Green & Rainy Wednesday
29 Jul

It’s me, Max. You know, the one that’s NOT the puppy?
Max likes to look out the window, even if it’s raining. In front of him is “Emo Plant.” Back in the spring, WM and I came across a stand of “Exotic Angel” brand plants at Wegmans. Each pot cost only $1.99 and their tag line is “Collect them all!” Like Pokemon, I suppose. Emo Plant was one of the two we took home, knowing they’d die like every other plant I’ve tried to keep.
But they lived! Wow!
Now we have EIGHT plants around our little abode, including the lucky bamboo that I bought at the Flower Show in March.
Emo plant is one of those plants that becomes melodramatic if they are just the slightest bit dry. Emo was passed out over the edges of the pot at noon. Seven hours later and well, you see.
By the way, I moved into this little apartment three years ago today. I was scared and sad. Now I’m surrounded with dogs and plants and love.
And sweet merciful crap what a difference 3 years can make!

This is a very nice post. With dogs and love and a happy home, no wonder those plants are thriving.
Thianks! It’s like we all feed off of each other’s energy in some weird way. It’s my own circle of life!
