The Wandering Minstrel got a job! He’ll be teaching history at a (somewhat) local private school. (Have I mentioned that he’s a teacher?) We are completely thrilled.

Watching him go through the very long and arduous process of getting a job* drove home to me how very lucky I am to have a job. Which makes me doubly concerned about the future of the newspaper industry. It’s been a weird month at work, that’s all I can say about that.

Britney, Britney, Britney. Jebus, girl. While she’s strapped down to her hospital bed for the rest of the weekend, I really hope she sees a good doctor and gets on some good medicine for whatever is ailing her. As for Jamie-Lynn, I hope she has a boy to add to Britney’s two. No more girls should ever go through the Spears Family Fame and Fortune Factory.
