Happy Friday, and here’s today’s “Friday Five”
1. Who gave you your last balloon, and what was the occasion?
Mom gave me a wee little balloon for my birthday last year.
2. Who gave you your last scolding, and what was it for?
I’m so good, I can’t remember.
3. Who gave you your last attaboy, and why?
I’d be an ‘attagirl’ and I think “The Boss” did the closest thing to that. (No, not Springsteen, the guy who painted his self portrait in blood years ago.) He tosses out imaginary gold stars. I adhere them to the wall in my imaginary office with the imaginary door and the imaginary quiet. 
4. Who gave you your last haircut?
Hair Cuttery back in December. I haven’t had it cut since, though I’m debating bangs. The only thing keeping me from bangs are the hostess pictures.
5. Who gave you your last massage?
Someone at Topper’s Spa on April 5, 2007.

I’m off today, as WM and I are heading to see John McCain speak at Burlington County College at 9:00 this morn. Oh! Stop! Don’t LOOK at me like that! I’m just trying to make an educated decision. Sheesh. You all know I lean slightly right anyway. If Obama comes to SJ, I’ll try to see him too.

Don’t let anyone “LOOK at you like that.” Kudos for being intellectually involved. And it could be worse - between my family and my wife’s family (who I live with), just about all my family are fanatical Hillary-heads. A big yikes for someone who similarly finds himself leaning just a leeeeeetle bit more to the right than he did when he was younger…
