Apologies for the small hiatus. Work has been a circus this week, and I’m looking forward to spending my entire day on a spreadsheet I should have been taking all week to work on.

But it isn’t all so bad. Example:

I just WISH I could repeat some of the things I hear the people surrounding me say on a daily basis. Hilarious stuff. But then I’d get canned for blogging, be famous for being canned for blogging, be able to support my household off of my blog, constantly complain about the pressure of living off of my blog, and the world doesn’t need anymore of those people than it has right now.

Friday 5 for June 27: Machinery

1. What was the last thing you purchased from a vending machine?
A bottle of water at work. Dasani water. Regular, not lemon-flavored. (Bleah!)

2. What was the last thing you made copies of on a photocopier?
WM’s driver’s license. His World of Warcraft account was hacked early Wednesday morning. To get it back, we had to fax proof of who he is to Blizzard. Unfortunately, a few of his characters were deleted and the culprit stripped our guild bank of about 4,000 gold worth of stuff.

3. When did you last use a pay telephone?
I honestly can’t remember. I vaguely recall using one in an airport within the last few years. But since I got my cell phones, I never use pay phones.

4. How often do you visit an automatic teller machine?
About twice weekly, which is about one time too many. Unfortunately, I’m probably going to have to start visiting one before I gas up the car, thanks to the changes in cash/credit pricing at local stations.

5. Which of your daily tasks would you most like to see automated?
Hair washing/drying/styling. I hate all of that.

Weekend plans:

Saturday: Off to the Celtic Fling again. This time I WILL post pictures. WM had some from last year but he didn’t post nearly enough photos of men in kilts.

Sunday: Gloriously, nothing!
