Seen on my MSN homepage today: Am I divorced? Or just single?
Heard in stores today: Band of Gold, Wedding Bell Blues
But overall, not such a weird day as last year. Healing is good. And I’m going to go out on a limb and sound creepy and say…if your life sucks today…it will most likely be better in just 365 days. Hang in there, little tomatoes.

That article leads me to wonder (as a divorced person)… shouldn’t it at least be taken into account HOW LONG a person has been divorced? What about the circumstances leading up to the divorce? What if the person (checking the box) is the one that initiated the divorce in order to reclaim their once happy and fulfilling life?
My health care provider “routinely screens” for signs of depression. They hand out a form that asks questions about hobbies, daily routines, and overall “how do you feel?” The last question on the form is “Do you want to hurt yourself or others around you?” I hate that form. Even when I go in for follow-up checkups (say two checkups or three checkups all related to the same thing - falling within a 6-week period of time). I received the form each time I was there.
