Blissful ignorance
Somebody’s going to be neutered today.
And because I am your stereotypical childless pet-owner, I took today off. I figured the people at my job wouldn’t appreciate me sitting at the PC all day, quietly worrying and googling any and all stories of death of a perfectly healthy dog during neutering. (Not many at all, though I’ve uncovered long-term health risks associated with neutering which I was unaware of. Damn you, Google.)
Once I come back from dropping him off (my baby! weep!) I think I’m going to force myself to bead something, ANYTHING, as I’ve gone far too long without it. And I have many, MANY beads sitting here.
Dropoff is between 8:30 and 9, surgery’s at lunchtime, I can call for updates at 3 (and 3:30. and 4. and 4:30…) and he comes home between 5:30 and 7pm, depending on how he wakes up.
Good thoughts for my Olliepeño, please.
Edited at 3:11 pm to add: He did great! Yay Ollie! Everything was routine and his pickup time will be around 5. I did not bead, but instead cleaned out the hall closet.
