Would’ve been, could’ve been

It’s been quite a rejuvenating week so far. We had tickets to the Phillies game last night, but decided to take the financial loss and not go. Why? It was in the 30s and blustery and damp. And they lost the game in the 11th. Which means I would have tossed one or both of my shoes onto the field and been arrested. And we don’t need that.

The cold and damp weather’s quashed my desire to go sightseeing across the river. So we’ve been prowling bookstores and coffee joints and doing house-y things like hanging stuff on the wall and rearranging cabinets. He’s been grading papers. I’ve been trying to learn PHP. Again. This time it’ll work. Weight Watchers is on hold for the week, but I lost 9 lbs as of Monday. I know I’ll see a pop by week’s end. But it’s okay…I have all the time in the world.

This would have been Kim 2.0’s 10th anniversary. So Kim 3.0 is off to the spa this morning for a massage and facial and to pamper herself.

Happy April 5th.

Glad to read things are well!

THe way the Phillies are playing, consider that a wise investment in minimizing your losses. This is gonna be a long baseball season.
