As you can tell from the logo…this year Cookiecam will have its own domain at kimscookiecam.com!
I’m experimenting with this one and letting GoDaddy provide the hosting. They offer a great package that allows me to let more than one domain name share a hosting plan, which is cool. Now…should I take the easy way out and go with the familiar WordPress or should I go with Drupal or Joomla…two CMSs that I know nothing about?
The GoDaddy install also comes with OsCommerce…a shopping cart app that might be useful in my career someday.
I’m truly excited about CookieCam …I gave up NaNoWriMo this year so I can give CookieCam more attention.
I’m baaaaaaaaack!

Joomla vs. Drupal
I’ve played around with both - I think it depends on the tme you want to spend building the site.
I set up a site in less than 12 hours with Joomla - lots of mods available - works well for a content site.
Drupal has a much steeper learning curve, but I think its more versatile, and much better for running a community site.
That’s my two cents.
